Information for Teams

Hello Teams!

On this new site you can find all of the information you need relating to the Digs League. There are also several new features including Team and Player Profiles:

All teams have to go through the registration process, whereby all players have to register and hold an Aber Uni Sporty Card. Teams are randomly assigned into ONE of TWO simultaneously running leagues. After all fixtures in the leagues are fulfilled, the top SIX teams compete in the playoffs.

In addition to the two leagues, all teams are entered into the Aberystywth Town Cup. The cup runs alongside the league and the finalists can look forward to playing at Park Avenue, the home of Aberystwyth Town Football Club, to show off their skills or just play some good football in front a stadia crowd.

When all this is over, even more football is played on a one day event, the Consolation Cup. This competition is open only to teams finishing below SEVENTH and teams who have been knocked out of the Aber Town Cup semi's and playoff semi finals.
